Recovery after Lower Blepharoplasty
Usually, people are off work for about 1 to 2 weeks depending on how self-conscious a patient is about the swelling and bruising. Once again, patients who have had fat transplantation tend to take longer for the swelling to subside.
Cardio and bending forward should be avoided for about 4 weeks. Stationary bike and weight lifting usually can be resumed at about a week. It is important to start slowly and with lower weights at first.
Most patients can drive at about 3-4 days.
